Hello Friends!

Have your feelings ever gotten you into trouble? You had it all figured out based on how you felt about a situation or a person, and then reality hit and you realized your feelings had lied to you. We humans are so prone to that, aren’t we?

That’s why I was so grateful for Rod’s message from Ephesians 3 last Sunday. He reminded us that our feelings don’t determine what God is or isn’t doing. We may feel weak while His Spirit is strengthening us, and we may see no change while He is working within us. When our feelings tell a different story, we can trust what He has promised, because “we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Pray With Us: Nursery Team

On a ministry note, will you pray with us for our nursery team to grow, and consider whether you might jump in and serve?

Serving in the nursery gave me the chance to make new mom-friends and get to know the families my kids were growing with. I know little ones aren’t everyone’s strong suit. Did you know they weren’t mine either? Yet God blessed me beyond measure through the friendships I found while serving there. Even more important than what I gained, parents like me got to hear and encounter the Word without interruption. What an honor to help build the kingdom in that way!
