The sermon hit home in a lot of ways. One thing that I found convicting is the Colossians segment, "letting the Word of God dwell richly in you (3:16), and it parallels my thoughts in last week's [email](https://erfriends.flowforth.co/emails/weekly-update/14382) referencing Psalm 90:12, "Teach us to number our days that we will get a heart of wisdom." Here's what landed: Pastor Aaron reminded us that something is discipling us, be it social channels, things we are reading, news outlets, and even activities. One hour on Sunday to know The Word, doesn't compete with the countless hours spent on those other things. The point lines up, at least for me, that it takes time to do all of those things. And, if I ask The Lord to teach me to number my days, I need to audit the hours of my life, so I can make the most of my days. All because I will stand before Him one day and give an account for what He gave me; one of those significant gifts being my time. This is a sobering reality. Yet, praise God, He gave us Jesus and the promised Holy Spirit to make the way for us to live this out - all the way home. I am praying that The Word of God will dwell richly in us as individuals, as families, and as a church. See you Sunday, Amy & Your Friends Church Staff Team P.S.
