Hi Friends Family! | Weekly Update 6-14-26

Hello Friends Family!

I listened to a new song this week called "Saturday" from the album Happy to Be Here, and it has stayed with me.

The song alludes to the three days of Jesus in the tomb — the grief of Friday, the hope of Sunday, and the waiting of Saturday. It stirred something in me as I thought about how much of life is lived in those “second day” places — the waiting, wondering, grieving, trusting places where we cannot yet see what God is doing.

I remembered some of those “second days” in my own life, and I thought about some of the ones I’m walking through now.

But over all of it, the song lifted my gaze higher. It helped me fix my thoughts on the One who has begun good works and promises to see them through to completion — even though His timing and His ways are different from what I would choose.

He will do what He promised.

He is making all things new.

So, like the song reminds us, don’t give up. don’t lose faith. A lot can change in a day.

Let’s remember together that God does His work His way. And let’s pray for one another, because we all need help to keep trusting, to keep holding on, and to not lose heart when God’s timing feels hard to understand.

Holding on to Jesus will be worth all of our waiting.

Royal Family Kids Camp was a blessing! Thank you to everyone who prayed, served, and gave. Will you continue praying for the kiddos who attended — that the lessons they learned and the memories they made would become foundational in their lives?

What a privilege we have to influence little ones for eternity. Thank you for partnering with us as we live on mission together.

VBS is a little over a week away — another opportunity to bless children with God’s Truth and love. Will you pray for the kiddos attending and their families, and for all those serving? What a week it’s going to be!
